Preschool is a unique time in a child’s life. They’re reaching major milestones and becoming more independent as they define who they are. At Learning Tree Academy, we have designed an age-appropriate curriculum to encourage independence and a love for learning.
The preschool classrooms are a major stepping stone to kindergarten, and our teachers focus on preparing students for that learning environment. The children not only work on their academic curriculum, but they also focus on their self-reliance skills, reading and math readiness skills, and listening and speaking skills.
In this classroom, our teachers help the children build foundational skills that will prepare them for structured learning. Each day begins with Circle Time, where the group discusses the weather, the calendar, and daily activities. These conversations are structured to encourage their early language development, understanding, and listening skills.

In our preschool classrooms, teachers will start using our specifically designed progress reports to track each child’s development. These reports are essential to our teachers as they help them identify your child’s strengths and areas for growth, allowing them to set goals tailored to your child’s needs. Teachers will share these reports with you twice a year at the end of each semester so you can see the progress your child is making.
You will also continue to receive daily updates through the Procare App. This app allows us to share updates on your child’s daily activities, moods, and more, as well as let you view billing statements and tuition communication.
