Starting daycare is a major transition for infants. After spending all their time with you at home, your child will begin to adjust to a new environment, new caregivers, and a consistent routine. Our goal is to make that transition as easy as possible. Our caregivers have many years of educational and practical experience with infants and toddlers, and know how to create a safe space where they can explore their surroundings, work on their motor skills, and play with their friends. We follow your baby’s routine for sleep schedule, feeding times, diaper changes, etc., so it’s consistent with your schedule at home.
Our toddler room is an exciting place where children begin finding their independence and learning how to interact with the world around them. In our toddler room, our teachers use The Creative Curriculum® to grow every area of their development, including physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language and communication. We also work on other important skills like potty training and table manners.
Our preschool classroom is where our early childhood education shines. Our teachers focus on preparing students for their future learning environments and encourage a love of learning. Our Pre-K3 classroom participates in more structured, intentional activities to help children develop different skills, including listening and following multi-step directions, social skills, imaginative play, and more. Our Pre-K4 academic curriculum is a part of the Wharton Borough Public School program and takes development to the next level, to prepare them for Kindergarten.
We provide before- and after-school care for children in our Universal Pre-K program who are ages 3 to 5. We do provide care during school breaks, including holidays, teacher in-service days, and snow days, when space allows. Our children look forward to summer camp every year! Running from mid-June through the end of August, each week our teachers lead theme-based, hands-on activities that encourage learning and, of course, lots of fun. Our program keeps children engaged during the summer so they don’t lose momentum over break. Enrollment opens in February and spots fill up fast, so make sure you enroll as soon as possible!
